System Controls Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Controls Engineer for a contract position with Wabtec. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience modeling and analysis of electro-mechanical systems. This role is a 12 month contract role.


Salary

$30 - $35/hr, depending on experience.


Essential Responsibilities


• Create applicable documentation of control systems and subsystems.

• Analyze and process Test Data. Compare with simulation data.

• Create Control diagrams using Visio and/or Simulink.


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent

• 2+ years of engineering experience

• Understanding Control Diagrams

• Understanding basic machine controls

• Experience using model-based tools such as MatLab/Simulink.

• Experience with flow charts using Visio.


Preferred Qualifications

• Modeling and analysis of electro-mechanical systems.

• Modeling tools such as Simscape, Amesim, Adams, Easy5.

• Real-time simulation environments such dSpace, Opal-Rt, PLECS
