Job Title: Document Review Attorney

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Document Review Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the review of complex legal documents thoroughly and systematically, identifying relevant information for legal teams in ongoing investigations or litigation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze legal documents for relevance, privilege, and specific issues; and code them accordingly.
  2. Conduct thorough and detailed document review in accordance with the legal team’s specifications.
  3. Work closely with litigators and legal teams in managing and conducting first-level and second-level document review.
  4. Understand and utilize proprietary e-discovery software effectively in review tasks.
  5. Provide feedback and quality control assistance, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the legal team.
  6. Consult with on-site attorneys and project managers to identify privileged or sensitive documents.
  7. Participate in special project assignments and document review for due diligence.
  8. Stay updated with the latest technological developments in the field of document review and e-discovery.

Requirements:

  1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required.
  2. Proven experience as a Document Review Attorney or in a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in Document Review databases & eDiscovery platforms.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of concentration for extended periods.
  5. Strong analytical skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  9. Willingness to work overtime and weekends if demanded by the project.
