Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Location: Mason, OH (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract (Long-term)

Pay Range: $35-$38 per hour


What you will be doing


  • The Technical Documentation Specialist drives the creation of a documentation methodology and framework and maintains proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency.
  • This role prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, system design, software operation, product description documents, installation documentation and user documentation.
  • This position translates business and technical specifications into documentation to be used by Sales, Marketing, the technical development team and user documentation.
  • This position is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Required Experience/ Education


  • BA or BS degree with a minimum of two years’ work experience writing technical documentation.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Word and Power Point products as well as ability to use graphic editing software.
  • Experience with a document archival system
