Job Description:

Design Expertise:

  • Proven expertise in Global WAN and LAN network design and implementation.
  • Experience designing integrated WLAN and SDA solutions for large-scale LAN/Wi-Fi transformation projects.
  • Expertise in planning and executing WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi transformation and migration strategies.
  • Proficient in designing, solutioning, building, and deploying advanced technologies, including:
  1. VPN technologies: IPSec, DMVPN, etc.
  2. Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, etc.
  3. MPLS & Multicast technologies.
  4. SDWAN technologies: Cisco Viptela, Cloudgenix, Riverbed SteelConnect, etc.
  5. Designing and engineering VeloCloud network infrastructure (HLD & LLD).
  6. SDWAN deployment planning sessions and gap analysis.
  7. Expertise in creating high-quality HLD and LLD design documents.
  8. LAN technologies: VLAN, VXLAN, VSF.
  9. Wi-Fi expertise: Predictive survey, AP design, and proficiency in RF.
  10. SDA technologies: Cisco SDA, Aruba Central, ClearPass.
  • Identifying cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience in sequencing tasks, scheduling, and preparing project plans.
  • Experience conducting rigorous WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi network tests and generating detailed reports.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong proficiency in developing Global WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing NNI solutions in multi-service provider environments.
  • Knowledge of public cloud connectivity, including Cloud Exchange, Direct Connect, and ExpressRoute to public cloud providers.
  • Extensive experience in implementing and troubleshooting WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi environments and WAN optimizers.
  • Deep knowledge of security technologies, including Firewalls, Proxy servers, SSL offloading, VPNs, ClearPass, and ISE.
  • Expertise in implementing essential services for data centers, such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and IPAM.
  • Strong understanding of WAN, MPLS, and Internet technologies.
  • Advanced/expert-level certifications from multiple vendors are preferred.
