This role focuses on strategic direction, coordination, and governance of large-scale data and IT modernization efforts across multiple public health programs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight and direction for PHIG-funded data modernization projectsSupport modernization of agency website and public-facing systemsGuide implementation of licensing and certification databases across healthcare domainsImprove interoperability for Immunization Information SystemsSupport enhancement of Electronic Test Orders and Results (ETOR) for public health labsAssist with development and execution of project timelinesMaintain effective communication with internal teams and stakeholdersSupport project leaders during implementation phases as neededBuild and manage support teams for data modernization initiativesRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience managing complex, multi-faceted data management or modernization projectsProven ability to oversee planning, organizing, and budgeting activitiesStrong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teamsExperience advancing enterprise-level data modernization goalsProficiency with Microsoft Office 365Preferred QualificationsExperience working with government agencies on IT or data initiativesFamiliarity with federal grant reporting and compliance requirementsKnowledge of public health data systems and regulatory standardsExperience with data security and privacy standards for protected health informationExposure to data visualization, analytics, and interoperability toolsExperience working with multiple technology vendors
