Are you a thoughtful content professional, natural storyteller, and master of SEO writing ready to empower shoppers as they navigate the confusing wireless telecom market? Are you interested in joining a profitable, early-stage company with a big opportunity?

 

Navi is looking for a Senior Content Writer to join our team of innovators transforming the way consumers shop the wireless telecom market. In this role, you’ll create engaging and informative SEO-optimized digital content, including blog articles and website pages, designed to meet the needs of wireless shoppers while simultaneously increasing Navi’s visibility in search engine results. You’ll also be responsible for crafting video scripts, email marketing messages, and social media posts that align with our brand and consumer growth goals. 

 

Our Consumer Growth team is on a mission to attract new site visitors, not just to satisfy our aggressive traffic goals but to help and empower everyday wireless phone users. The successful candidate for this role must have excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, and deep SEO experience—all combined with the creativity and curiosity to create stories that clarify, resonate, and delight. As Navi’s Senior Content Writer, you’ll have the chance to shape our content strategy and create highly effective content to deliver on it. You’ll work side-by-side with our growing content team and a deeply experienced and collaborative leadership team, serving a large and dynamic industry in a fast-paced work environment.

 

Day-to-day, Navi is fully remote; we meet for company-wide, in-person, multi-day meetings approximately three to four times a year.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish compelling content for various platforms such as our website, blog, social media platforms, and YouTube
  • Write and edit long-form SEO-optimized articles, short-form messaging, video scripts, and social media posts
  • Revise existing long-form blog articles to include high-value keywords without sounding keyword-stuffed
  • Monitor the performance of your content and regularly optimize it for improved visibility in SERPs
  • Ideate and inform Navi’s content strategy in partnership with Navi’s managing editor
  • Actively monitor and contribute to our editorial content calendar to ensure consistent content production and timely delivery
  • Stay abreast of the latest SEO writing tools and tactics such as the emerging role of AI in content creation to achieve a balance between efficiency and bespoke human content
  • Research competitors’ content to identify new topic areas, article ideas, and digital solutions for Navi to explore
  • Publish content to the website as we continue to add new marketing pages and blog posts to yournavi.com

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of prior work experience in journalism, marketing, advertising, or public relations
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, a deep understanding of SEO, strong attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Must be a self-starter, collaborative team player, and multi-tasker
  • Webflow or other content management system experience such as WordPress
  • Proven track record as an SEO writer, content creator, copywriter, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles or other content
  • Graphical tools such as Figma, Photoshop, or Canva
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Semrush, Ahrefs, Clearscope, or similar tools

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field 
  • At least five years of work experience in a marketing, advertising, editorial, or public relations department in-house or at an agency
  • Telecommunications and/or consumer electronic industry experience preferred
