POSITION SUMMARY


The Director of Contracts plays a critical role in operationalizing the strategic vision for contract management within the organization. This position is responsible for executing and overseeing the implementation of standardized contract processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and driving collaboration across departments to achieve organizational objectives. This role is pivotal in fostering collaboration across departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards, and driving the continuous improvement of contracting processes.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS


Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Contracting, Business Administration or a related field and a Master’s degree is preferred.


Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in healthcare contracting required.
  • Strong understanding of contract principles, healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.


Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with legal counsel, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory requirements to contract development and management.
