Title: AEM Developer


Location: Onsite in Austin (Day 1)


Key Requirements:


Experience:


At least 3-5+ years working exclusively on Core AEM projects.

Overall total professional experience should be 6+ years.

Technical Skills:


Strong foundation in Java programming.

Extensive hands-on experience with workflows, Sling servlets, REST, JSON, and Lucene indexing is a must.

Exposure to Coral / Granite UI, Adobe UI customization is essential.

Deep understanding of AEM's security, including Access Controls.

Expertise in extending AEM's core functionalities, such as Launches.

Experience with AEM 6.4 or newer versions.

Working knowledge of Sightly / Sling models.

Core Components:


Strong understanding of core AEM components such as Oak, Sling, and Dispatcher.

Development Tools:


Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated test execution.

Familiarity with building tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Selenium, or Maven.

Collaboration:


Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project deliverables.

Collaborate effectively with other teams, including QA, UX, etc.

Documentation:


Exceptional skills in documenting and explaining core technical processes.

Additional Skills:


Previous experience with other CMS platforms is a plus.

Good understanding of the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) area is desirable.

Bonus:


Prior experience in a similar role is a strong plus.
