Mahn Family Funeral and Cremation Services is a family-owned business that specializes in helping people create a meaningful service to honor and celebrate their loved one. Our business owns and operates our own crematories at our Red Wing and Rochester locations.

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Funeral Director/Intern for our location in Rochester, MN. As a Funeral Director, you will provide support through every step of the funeral planning process to help families create a memorable service and tribute for their loved ones. You will also coordinate funeral arrangements, handle the transportation of the deceased, and provide support and guidance for grieving families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited mortuary science program and a current and valid funeral director's license or funeral dorector’s internship

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a licensed Funeral Director
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Demonstrated ability to show empathy, compassion and patience to families during a difficult time
