At Abio Properties (www.abioproperties.com), we are looking for a dynamic Marketing Director to spearhead the marketing of our diverse and stunning properties across the Bay Area. This full-time, hybrid role will be based in either Oakland or Lafayette, CA—your choice


As the Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in crafting and conveying Abio’s inviting culture through both digital and direct marketing. You will oversee the development of creative strategies, branding, and marketing materials, collaborating with team members on social media strategy, art direction, and graphic design concepts to enhance the marketing prowess of Abio Properties and our agents.

You will manage creative design projects, email marketing, social media strategy, and website projects. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, customer service-oriented, creative, able to juggle multiple deadlines, and who can wear many hats. Major Responsibilities:

  • Design, write, and edit content for websites, flyers, fact sheets, print ads, social media posts, e-blasts, blog posts, agent biographies, and videos.
  • Maintain and create property websites using WordPress templates.
  • Support marketing efforts for individual agents and teams.
  • Manage marketing for all Abio listings.
  • Hire, lead, and manage the Marketing Team, including social media/video, writer, web developer, and vendors.
  • Grow and manage Abio’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • Manage the email marketing calendar, including weekly, monthly, and ad hoc newsletters.
  • Develop and oversee content collaboration, ensuring cohesive and strategic branding across all channels.
  • Delegate projects to the most skilled team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Build relationships and manage expectations with agents of various personalities, needs, and work styles.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communications align with brand standards.
  • Lead the Abio Cares initiative to support community non-profits.
  • Analyze marketing efforts and website analytics.
  • Handle additional duties as they arise.


Role Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in design and/or marketing.
  • Experience leading and working within a team.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience with WordPress.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to manage your own workflow and timelines.


Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with email marketing (Mailchimp).
  • Familiarity with HTML, Trello, and Canva.
  • SEO knowledge.
  • Experience with Google Business Pages.


Additional Details:

  • Offices located in Oakland (Temescal) and Downtown Lafayette.
  • Salary range based on experience, plus annual bonus based on sales and performance.
  • All necessary equipment provided.
  • Generous PTO plus 9 holidays and 3 half days.
