About The Opportunity

Roobrik, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented mid-level to senior Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our web-based applications. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to identify and resolve issues, develop and execute both manual and automated test plans, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes. We are looking for a technically skilled individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and has a keen eye for detail.


You’ll Be a Great Fit if You Have:


Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in web application testing, with a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Jira and TestRail QA tools.
  • Prefer experience with automated test platforms like Selenium / Playwright
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Testing Expertise

  • Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


What You Will Do:


Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.

Develop Test Plans

  • Write detailed test plans and test cases that cover all aspects of product testing, ensuring they align with the product requirements and use cases.

Execute Manual Tests

  • Design and execute manual test cases for web applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

Identify and Document Defects

  • Accurately identify and document defects, providing clear and detailed steps to reproduce issues to help developers troubleshoot and fix them efficiently.

Conduct Exploratory Testing

  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and ensure the highest quality product experience.

Perform Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing

  • Ensure our applications are compatible with various browsers and platforms, maintaining a consistent user experience across all environments.

Troubleshoot Issues

  • Work collaboratively with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, providing insights and suggestions for resolution.

Maintain Testing Schedule

  • Ensure all testing activities are completed on schedule while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Improve QA Processes

  • Continuously contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
