Responsibilities:
- Work in a patient focused team providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health.
- Providing compassionate care by listening to patients concerns and guiding them by answering any questions or concerns.
- Assist patients with issues or needs.
- Assist nursing staff in administering basic treatments.
- Perform a variety of technical, para-professional, rehabilitative or therapeutic procedures and activities related to patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Work under the supervision of the RN.
Job Requirements:
- Patient Care Technician Certification from National Healthcare Association – Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS)
- Minimum of one year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant - preferred
