We are looking for a talented and motivated Wastewater Treatment Process Design Engineer to join our client's team in Fort Collins, Colorado. The team is dedicated to improving water quality and sustainability through cutting-edge technology and comprehensive engineering services.


The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in wastewater treatment process design and will be working towards obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license. This role involves contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of wastewater treatment projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design wastewater treatment processes, including preliminary and detailed engineering.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of wastewater treatment projects.
  • Support project managers in maintaining project timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Stay updated with advancements in wastewater treatment technologies and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in wastewater treatment process design.
  • Progress towards obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, principles, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
