Job Title – Medical Device Project Manager

Job Location -Boston, Massachusetts(Fully onsite)

Type: W2 contract


Job Description:

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.

Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules, design stage reviews and prepares status reports.

Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

RTE role (Release Train Engineer)

Technical skills that are required for the role:

Experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)

SAFe SPC certified

Experience leading diverse and complex projects and programs

Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration (MBA)

Independent thinker with the ability to take both a commercial and operational view of complex situations

Ability to solve highly complex problems across multiple business functions

Experience with ProChain, JIRA, JAMA or PDware

Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP)

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience


Nice to Have:

Project Management, Engineering, or Technical Service experience

Experience with medical devices, aerospace, imaging technology or other highly technical regulated disciplines.
