Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their full-service stay hotel, restaurant and conference center in the Greater Boston area.


This property is located along Rt. 495, approximately 30 miles northwest of Boston.


JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations at the hotel and conference center. This role ensures the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping team, manages inventory, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Housekeeping Operations

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.


Staff Management

  • Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants and housekeeping supervisors.
  • Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and meet occupancy demands.
  • Provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff, addressing any issues or concerns.


Inventory Management

  • Manage housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities.
  • Order supplies as needed and maintain accurate records of inventory.
  • Implement cost-control measures to ensure budget compliance.


Guest Satisfaction

  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Coordinate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Monitor guest feedback and make improvements based on reviews and comments.


Health and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Train staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for staff and guests.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Several years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment .
