Our client, a Fortune 100 organization, is looking for a Back End Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities

  • Coding of complex design specifications utilizing back-end technologies
  • Work with peers to carry out code reviews and unit testing of new development
  • Interact with other development teams to ensure a consistent approach to software development
  • Communicate professionally and effectively to clients, management, and other departments
  • Support integration/system testing team with troubleshooting
  • Establish a working relationship and facilitate on-going dialog with technical leads, team members and managers
  • Develop an understanding of the insurance industry and products


Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ enterprise experience in a Developer role or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Web Services development using Java, Python, or C#
  • Experience with or knowledge of Unix
  • BONUS: Experience with APIs
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Driven, hard worker willing to further themselves and learn new skills
