  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.
  • Risk Management:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats to the program timeline and budget.
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans to address identified risks and minimize their impact.
  • Escalate critical risks to senior management and propose solutions to maintain program objectives.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Establish strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
  • Track supplier performance, address quality issues, and manage any supplier-related risks.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements that protect the company’s interests and ensure project success.
  • Testing and Validation:
  • Collaborate with the cross-organizational teams to develop comprehensive test plans and procedures.
  • Ensure that all vehicles meet or exceed regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Triage, track, and resolve any issues identified during field use or testing and validation.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as a technical program manager in the automotive industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex vehicle programs on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of automotive engineering principles, including electrical systems, chassis design, and software development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordinating supplier engagements and managing supplier relationships, with a track record of successfully tracking and managing supplier deliverables.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.).
