Position Overview:

Our colleagues client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join clients Product Engineering team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will design and maintain electrical control systems for engineered-to-order capital equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and review electrical control systems.
  • Prepare wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and bills of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, UL, and CSA codes.
  • Confirm practical fabrication with shop assemblers.
  • Maintain UL files and records.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance.
  • Write technical documents and PLC programs.
  • Assist with product development and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
  • Experience with heat transfer equipment desired.
  • Knowledge of ASME Section VIII codes and standards desired.
