FP&A Manager

Are you passionate about clean energy and skilled in FP&A? We seek a dynamic FP&A Manager to join a pioneering solar power distribution industry team. As an FP&A Manager, you will be critical in shaping our client's financial strategies. You will be instrumental in preparing annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and monthly reports. Additionally, you will manage our advanced planning and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and providing key financial insights that drive business decisions. This is a fully REMOTE position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, aligning financial strategies with corporate objectives.
• Develop comprehensive financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational efficiencies.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Report on financial status by developing forecasts, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain and refine financial dashboards and key performance indicators, tailoring reports for different stakeholders including front-line management, senior executives, and external
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
• Partner with department heads to review operating budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Identify cost-saving and profit-maximizing opportunities to drive business growth.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including financial auditors, consultants, and partners to ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies.
• Monitor and enforce internal financial controls, ensuring that prescribed policies and procedures are followed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and the regulatory environment, ensuring compliance with financial legal requirements.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement by mentoring finance staff and reviewing existing policies.
• Undertake special financial projects as directed by the CFO or CEO.
• Drive initiatives in the finance and accounting department that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
• Continuously evaluate the efficacy of financial software and tools, recommending upgrades and changes to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Support the preparation of board presentations and financial reports for investor meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• MBA
• 5+ years of experience in the solar or energy storage sector
• Proficient with financial planning and reporting systems
