Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment.
  • Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair defective plant machinery as assigned.
  • Demonstrate ability to use power tools to dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as fans, pumps, tanks, conveyors, and other specialty equipment.
  • Work with Engineering to design, select, modify, and/or adapt equipment or procedures to specific project requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers and Department Leads on preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Maintaining work records (work orders, PM’s, Materials, and Parts) is required.
  • Must have knowledge and experience of electronic controls.
  • Demonstrate analytical problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities.


Requirements / Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrate ability to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment.
  2. Formal electronic training on AC/DC circuits.
  3. Working knowledge and use of safe work practices including Lock Out – Tag out.
  4. Should have a thorough knowledge of mechanical-related production equipment.
  5. Can follow manufacturing/ equipment specifications.
  6. Perform basic math calculations and understand blueprints.
  7. A journeyman Electrician License is a plus
  8. Knowledge of HVAC
  9. Should work well with others and have communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Perform preventive maintenance as directed by the equipment schedule.
  11. Perform simple welding, plumbing, and machining.
  12. Test, calibrate, and repair electronic mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards, and assist in formulating calibration standards.
