Contracts Specialist

Location: Lafayette, IN

Long Term contract (until June 2026)

Pay: $40-65/HR


This role involves conducting audits, managing risks, enforcing contractual obligations, and fostering collaboration among key stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

Compliance Assurance: Regularly auditing and reviewing contracts and processes to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identifying compliance risks, developing strategies to address them, and preventing future occurrences.

Enforcement of Obligations: Addressing breaches of contracts promptly and implementing corrective measures to protect the organization’s interests.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with internal legal, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment and compliance across all departments.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of compliance activities and enforcement actions, and preparing reports to provide transparency and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in contract management, compliance, or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in compliance software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
