Position Overview:

Morgan Legal Group is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Litigation Attorney to join our accomplished litigation team. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in both state and federal court practice. A passion for advocacy and the drive to excel in complex commercial disputes are essential for this role. As a key member of our team, you will manage a diverse caseload, work closely with clients, and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategies from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of litigation matters, including commercial, civil, and other complex cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to clients' needs and objectives.
  • Communicate directly with clients, providing regular updates, advice, and legal recommendations.
  • Negotiate settlements and handle dispute resolution in the best interest of clients.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, associates, and support staff to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Participate in firm initiatives, business development activities, and maintain positive client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the New York bar.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Experience drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, and taking depositions.
  • Proven track record of managing cases through all stages of litigation.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and legal research skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
