Air Monitoring Field Technician


AirLogics, LLC is currently seeking an Air Monitoring Field Technician to support a temporary project in Central NJ. This is a temporary position for a project that is anticipated to last between 6 and 7 months.



As an Air Monitoring Field Technician, you will report to a site that is undergoing environmental remediation and be responsible for operating and maintaining AirLogics’ perimeter air monitoring system.

  • to work independently - because you will be at the Site on your own while maintaining our equipment.
  • dealing with people in a professional manner - because people and relationships matter.
  • with working with electronic instrumentation - because our business utilizes highly sophisticated air sensors, on-board computers, communications electronics, batteries, and other devices. (Note: we will train you on this equipment, but we need someone with an aptitude for working with instrumentation.)
  • with working with tools and equipment - because our highly sophisticated equipment requires some basic supporting structures, platforms, connections, and housings.
  • with using a laptop with basic software Microsoft Outlook (email) and Microsoft Excel (data management)
  • - because schedules and plans can change.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform technical execution of air monitoring project under the supervision of highly experienced professionals and subject matter experts.
  • Set-up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air monitoring instrumentation and systems on project sites.
  • Review data collected by our air monitoring systems
  • Document daily activities
  • Communicate proactively, effectively, and efficiently with clients and team members on active project sites
  • Coordinate shipment and/or delivery of units and system components for new installations to sites
  • Follow Site-specific health & safety plans


Qualifications:


  • Related college coursework or degree preferred
  • Ability to independently perform and manage field tasks
  • Strong technical aptitude and field skills


-Ability to operate hand tools and maintenance equipment

-Strong oral communication skills, problem solving, and organizational skills.

-A valid driver’s license in good standing.

-OSHA 40Hr HAZWOPER Certification preferred

-Some heavy lifting is required
