Paint Robotics Engineer

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Paint Robotic Engineer for our facility in Salisbury, NC, NO sponsorship or C2C available, MUST have working experience and bachelor's degree Looking for someone with fluid delivery, control plans, PFEMA, as well as paint application experience.

Essential Job Functions:

Improve the design and process control of the paint department operations;

Equipment and control panel upgrades;

Conveyor control integration with paint robots;

Data acquisition improvements for production reporting;

Safety device and logic changes for zoned safety;

Networking and communications upgrades for reliability;

Modicon & Allen Bradley PLC logic improvements for uptime and throughput increase;

Specify, design, implement, and track the improvement of robot path programming and optimization of manipulator, applicator, and fluid delivery process;

Equipment specification and procurement, including acting as liaison to builders, customers, and Production for paint process and fluid delivery process;

Coordination of trial runs and quality improvement for the paint process;

Implement cost-reduction improvements for both new and existing equipment/processes; and

Technical support to all Production and Engineering operations for improvement programs.
