Job Description:

The Page Group is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for an exciting opportunity in the aviation industry. This role is crucial for the development and enhancement of various embedded products that will be installed in the aircraft cabin, significantly improving the experience of passengers and crew members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain embedded software for new and existing cabin products.
  • Design and implement firmware and device drivers, specifically for I2C, SPI, UART, and USB interfaces.
  • Perform board bring-up and develop Uboot boot loaders.
  • Debug and resolve software and firmware issues independently and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
  • Work on a new product that is yet to be integrated into aircraft, developing new features based on given requirements.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in C and C++ programming.
  • Embedded Linux: Proficiency in Embedded Linux Operating System and driver development.
  • Kernel Development: In-depth knowledge of Kernel Device drivers and Uboot boot loader.
  • Board Bring-up: Hands-on experience in board bring-up activities.
  • Firmware Development: Strong familiarity with writing low-level firmware and drivers using I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
  • Debugging Skills: Proven ability to debug and resolve complex embedded software and firmware issues.
  • Autonomy: Ability to start and work effectively without supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and self-management skills.
  • Development Experience: Strong experience in building embedded systems from the ground up.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the aviation industry or with inflight entertainment systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Location: This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires the candidate to work onsite.
