Our Challenge

This Software Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining proprietary Client software. They will work side by side with product owners, program managers, and architects across multiple teams to determine requirements and interfaces between services. The Software Developer will primarily work on server-side software including database interactions but may be asked to work on client-side user interface (HTML, JavaScript) in rare cases. They may be responsible for acceptance testing another developer’s feature, just as another developer may be performing acceptance testing for this Software Developer’s code changes. The Software Developer will be part of a SCRUM team with SCRUM ceremonies and will deliver all the story validation in order to deliver the features in sprints.

  • Experience in Java Application Development
  • Experience with Object Oriented programming
  • Experience with Spring (Framework, Spring Boot, ORM, MVC, Integration, Batch, Services)
  • Experience with SOA, REST/SOAP webservices, JSON/XML
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms
  • Experience with any of these Source Control Tools: BitBucket/GIT, Subversion (SVN)
  • Experience with Maven, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI), JUnit
  • Experience in NoSQL DB Cassandra
  • Experience in Apache Kafka, MQ messaging frameworks
