We are a leading provider of fire and life safety solutions, is seeking a Temporary Warehouse Clerk for a 2-week assignment in Astoria/Queens, NY.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for pick and pack tasks, ensuring that orders are accurately filled and prepared for shipment.

This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of safety and efficiency during a period of increased demand.

Start: 6/24 Monday

End: 7/5 Friday


Pay: $25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
  • Packing: Efficiently pack items for shipment, ensuring that all packages are secure and properly labeled.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining organized and accurate inventory records.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure items are free from defects and correctly match order details.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary documentation for inventory, orders, and shipments accurately and promptly.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and order management systems.
