Ready to jump into a new opportunity? ACCESSbank is hiring for a Commercial Relationship Manager.


  • Develops and retains commercial business, meeting with prospects and customers of moderate size and complexity in a designated region to achieve a moderate sales goal under limited supervision of more experienced personnel.
  • Makes calls independently and may accompany more experienced personnel on larger account visits.
  • Gathers related financial and general business information, performs financial analyses needed to make credit decisions, participates in team credit decisions, and communicates with prospects and customers to close sales. Develops and maintains pricing and interest rate
  • structure to be consistent with financial institution policies and procedures, and to be competitive with current market rates.
  • Manages and ensures the quality of assigned loan relationships to minimize loss, adverse classifications and delinquencies.
  • Reviews new laws and regulations that influence business lending within the financial institution and makes recommendations to management when necessary.
  • Develops broader knowledge base of commercial and other products and services, including loan policy, documentation, structuring and regulatory requirements.
  • Continues developing growing network of outside referral sources for new business.
  • Ensures that own work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
  • Provides a full range of professional, technical and general support to customers and bank personnel on cash management services.
  • Performs customer setups; prepares contracts and maintains customer files; tracks sales records, monitors product usage and system operation.
  • Prepares written responses to requests for proposal.
  • Assists in cash management audits and examinations.
  • Provides support in training bank personnel on the features and benefits of cash management products and services.
  • Cooperates and coordinates with areas of the financial institution as needed.
  • Other duties assigned.



Education and Expereince


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in business, finance or management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in originating commercial, consumer, real estate loans and other portfolio-type products.
  • Underwriting knowledge, from origination to loan closing.
  • Strong consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results, ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated/takes initiative.
  • knowledge of commercial, industrial, commercial real-estate and consumer lending policies and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively work with colleagues and on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
