Industry- Consumer goods, large company, public, about 2B in revenue, 2500 employees, about 400 in HQ office

Hours- full time, 40 hours/week

Office Location- Fairhaven, MA

Schedule- Hybrid (1-2 days per week in office)

Background- Criminal check & 5 panel drug screen (includes marijuana)

Job Description:

The HR Specialist supports the global HR organization in the processing of HR transactions across the organization. The HR Specialist will partner and collaborate with internal (HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, etc.) and external (I9 vendor, unemployment vendor, etc.) customers in the support of day-to-day activities and project(s) they are participating in.

Process HR related actions such as new hires, employee changes and terminations in an accurate and timely manner in Oracle HCM. Responsible for managing and conducting the Payroll and Benefits Orientation for US salaried new hires, to include I9 verification. As the face of Acushnet Company, ensure new hires are provided with a great experience as they learn about the company. Provide general overview of policies and direct new hires to the appropriate resources as necessary.

Participate and co-lead modules upgrade, implementation and integrations. Identify opportunities for improvement, research and make recommendations and implement resolution to correct issues. Assist with or own special People Systems projects as directed. Participate in meetings, trainings, and business improvement initiatives. Proactively suggest process improvement to enhance the efficiency of HR processes

Design, create, edit, and share reports per a schedule, or as required using Oracle HCM Reporting tool. Produce ad-hoc report requests for data from Oracle HCM. Responsible for creating and managing the core employee data Dashboards and Metrics. Responsible for creating, updating, maintaining templates and processing mass employee data upload into Oracle. This includes testing uploads and validating data post upload

Act as primary contact for global HR to review processes for all HR transactions via Oracle HCM and provide day to day operational support. Troubleshoot issues that occur and work with third party vendor to track and bring issues to closure. Partner with Payroll to regularly audit HR data. Coordinate with broader HR team to maintain best practices related to data entry and systems utilization.

Resolve Help Desk tickets related to Oracle HCM.

  • 5 %

Maintain employee records including active and inactive employee files and support for storage of records.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or closely related business experience.

Experience: 3+ years experience in an HR role supporting multiple people with high volume of transactions in a regional or global environment.
