Role Product Designer - AutoCAD

Location Lewisville TX 75067


Job Description:

Responsible for supporting the quoting and ordering process for commercial and residential sectional garage doors through the creation of door assembly drawings.


Responsibilities

  • Create 2-dimensional drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Exterior view scaled Depiction Drawings.
  • Interior view Application Drawings with installation, track, and operator dimensioning.
  • Apply standard calculations and guidelines for installation clearances and reaction loads.
  • Pro-actively communicate with Customer Care and internal support teams to resolve product configuration questions.
  • Read, interpret, and understand bills of materials.
  • Check dimensions, verify finished work, and compile required documentation.


Qualifications

  • Associate degree in CAD design and/or drafting; or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Proficient knowledge of Drafting practices.
