We are working with a client specializing in the aviation and transportation space looking for a Contract Administrator to work on one of their aviation projects in NYC. You will be responsible for the coordination, administration, and direction of activities throughout the organization to insure project objectives and adherence to corporate procedures and guidelines.


Responsibilities -


  • Facilitate decisions from Project Managers on contracting problems and methods.
  • Coordinate and review monthly project reporting.
  • Prepare monthly reports for management meetings as directed.
  • Work on Pre-qualifications and evaluations of potential bidders, and assist in administrative activities.
  • Setup pre-bid, pre-award, and pre-construction meetings as directed.
  • Monitor project status and reporting and associated functions.
  • Interface with other departments, and internal stakeholders on a regular basis regarding contract and administrative matters.
  • Review project needs and make recommendations to avoid potential problems.
  • May assist in the formulation of department policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.


Qualifications -


  • Educational and experience requirements include: 4 yr college degree, or equivalent combination in technical training and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years contract, purchasing and administrative experience.
  • A thorough knowledge of contracting, finance, purchasing, engineering, and controls procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
