Young restaurant is seeking a new head chef to develop and lead its food program. Ideal candidate is creative, ambitious, and able to lead a small and tight-knit team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in seasonal cooking, knows the Southern California market well, and is skilled at dish creation and menu composition, managing food costs, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills. 

This position offers plenty of freedom for personal and creative growth to those who bring a clear vision and are eager to help shape a new restaurant in an exciting, developing market. 

Our restaurant is approximately 60 seats with a full bar program.


Interested candidates should meet the following criteria to be considered:

- Experience with managing a team of cooks

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to accurately manage food and labor costs

- Ability to create high quality and attractive dishes, with a strong sense of seasonality and menu composition

- Collaborative mindset

- Good attitude and dependable. We are a small and tight-knit team and strive to cultivate a positive and healthy work environment
