Overview:Harp & Crown, part of Schulson Collective, is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Known for its innovative menu, elevated dining experience, and lively ambiance, Harp & Crown provides an exciting environment to showcase your culinary expertise. Key Responsibilities: Culinary Leadership: Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency. Menu Execution: Execute menu items with precision, ensuring presentation and taste align with the restaurant's standards. Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Inventory & Cost Management: Assist in managing food costs, inventory, and ordering to ensure efficiency and minimize waste. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively and maintain composure in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant. Skills: Strong culinary skills with expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and team management. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team while maintaining a positive workplace culture. Passion: A love for food and hospitality, with a dedication to delivering memorable guest experiences. Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
