After all, it's the Georgian way.General Overview: A Grill Cook prepares and cooks grilled items to order, maintains proper food safety standards, ensures quality and consistency, and coordinates with the kitchen team for smooth service. General Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meats, and other items on the grill. Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized grill station. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Set up and stock the grill station with necessary supplies. Monitor grill temperatures and adjust as needed. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Check food quality before serving. Assist with prep work and other kitchen tasks as needed. Follow all kitchen safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications: Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel Familiarity with various cooking methods such as grilling, baking, and boiling. Familiarity with ingredients, different types of equipment and procedures Excellent time management and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills DOH certificate/ license preferred. Passion for food and cooking with desire to learn and grow culinary skills. Strong attention to detail especially regarding food quality, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more. Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as pots, pans, bulk food items. Ability to work in a hot or humid environment at certain times. Ability to frequently move around the kitchen including reaching and bending.
