We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage for an ongoing need in Michigan, close to Creek. If you are skilled in emergency care and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this opportunity could be a great fit Position Highlights: Location: Michigan, near CreekRole Type: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine PhysicianFacility Type: Trauma Level 3 Emergency Department with Outpatient SettingStart Date: December 2, 2024, with a required onsite orientationDuration: Ongoing need due to scheduling requirements and staffing demandsSchedule: Scheduled clinical hours only, with no call requirementsShift Coverage: December 3rd - 8th (8am - 8pm shifts)Holiday Coverage: Opportunities for coverage on major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and 4th of July Practice Setting: Patients per Shift: Average of 36 patients per dayDepartment Beds: 11Admissions per Day: Average of 3Support Staff: 2-3 Emergency Department Registered NursesSupervision: No supervision of advanced practice providers or residents requiredCharting System: Meditech EMR for seamless workflowTemporary Privileges: Available for qualified candidates Position Requirements: Board Certification: Emergency Medicine (required)Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan medical licenseCertifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and other advanced certifications are not requiredCredentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days, with expedited options based on provider's submission speed Additional Details: Facility Amenities: Emergency services support includes 24-hour access to laboratory, radiology, and general surgery services.
