The Department of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in coastal Charleston, SC is seeking a pediatric dermatologist to provide clinical care. Duties will include providing outpatient clinical care at the Medical University of South Carolina s main campus and/or satellite locations.We are seeking candidates with: BC/BE in Dermatology & Pediatrics, and eligible for South Carolina licensureAcademic orientation, enthusiasm for teaching, passion for outreach and researchFocus on collaboration, innovation, and teamworkCompletion of a Pediatric Dermatology FellowshipOur Opportunity:Robust clinical practice with a dedicated team of dermatology trained staff including 21 physicians, including general dermatologists, pediatric dermatologists, and Mohs surgeons, 15 residents and 7 APPsPotential to work at any of the Charleston area clinicsMinimal call obligationExpectation to participate in teaching assignments and mentor students, interns, residents and fellowsMUSC Offerings:Faculty position with academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications, expertise, and accomplishmentsRelocation assistanceExcellent retirement options, including a pension and optional tax deferred contributionsSovereign Immunity malpractice coverage22 days of annual leave, 15 days of sick leave, and 13 paid holidaysPublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program eligibilityEpic Medical Record platformFounded in 1824, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) continues to uphold its long tradition of excellence in education, research and patient care.
