We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our thriving team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our projects, providing accurate cost estimations and budgeting solutions that help shape our construction endeavors. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about construction, thrives on challenges, and is eager to apply their expertise in project estimation, cost management, construction estimating, project bidding, budgeting, and RFP.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Estimator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Developing comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
2. Conducting thorough risk analysis to identify potential issues and provide appropriate solutions.
3. Collaborating with project managers and other team members to formulate budgets and bid packages.
4. Analyzing RFPs and other project documentation to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.
5. Utilizing advanced project estimation techniques to anticipate potential project costs and financial risks.
6. Leveraging your expertise in cost management to optimize resource allocation and ensure cost-effectiveness.
7. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on project estimates and budgets to stakeholders and senior management.
8. Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction estimation and cost management.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project estimation and cost management in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in construction estimating, project bidding, budgeting, and RFP.
4. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in using estimation and project management software.
7. A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
9. A team player mentality, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
