Summary:

As a member of our team, you will provide nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Professional Nurse and lead groups and activities with patients.

Responsibilities:

• Follow patient care directives from the Registered Nurse
• Perform designated procedures and respond promptly to patient needs
• Maintain a safe patient environment
• Offer assistance with unit needs proactively
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and coworkers
• Accurately document patient data and observations
• Lead or co-lead patient groups and activities
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient rights and educate patients and families
• Fulfill all compliance responsibilities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology preferred, but will consider an Associate's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or related field, or CNA with psychiatric population experience. Minimum of one year of related experience.

Desired:

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
