The company has more than 60 locations through which it distributes products, equipment and chemicals, and provides customers with other value-added services including equipment repair, equipment rental and education.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and management of our online sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce, digital marketing, and sales, with a passion for driving growth and maximizing revenue through online channels.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute the overall ecommerce strategy, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and goal setting.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost, and take appropriate action to achieve targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the ecommerce industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to drive initiatives that enhance the online shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings, descriptions, and imagery to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and service providers to support ecommerce operations, such as payment processors, logistics partners, and digital marketing agencies.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and innovations in ecommerce and digital marketing, and recommend strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Analyze customer behavior and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in products, services, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to ecommerce operations, including data privacy, consumer protection, ADA compliance and payment security.
Qualifications/ Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, ecommerce, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in ecommerce management, with at least 5 of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce), content management systems (CMS), and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web development languages and tools is required.
  • Experience with Epicor ECC and Epicor Solar is STRONGLY preferred.
