Responsibilities


As a Respiratory Therapist, internally referred to an RRT or CRT, you will administer, monitor, and assess the effectiveness of respiratory care in an efficient and effective manner for our patients.

Working with patients in all departments of the hospital, you will support all modalities of Respiratory Care; An excellent opportunity to develop or enhance your skills.

Additionally, you will be part of a close, very collaborative and supportive RT team.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing and communicative because you will be involved with educating staff, patients and patient's family all along the way.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. 2 years experience as an RCP preferred. ACLS certificate within 60 day of hire and maintain current. NRP certificate preferred. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree required. If there is no Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
