Job Description Gilead Sciences in Foster City, CA, is looking for a talented Senior Associate Scientist to join our Biologics Analytical Operations team. This team uses cutting-edge technologies to advance medicines into clinical trials. The ideal candidate will lead analytical efforts on Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing (PDM) project teams and have opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
  • Support analytical activities for biologic molecules in early development phases.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods for molecule characterization.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance in testing processes.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in Analytical Development.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing operations.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to senior staff.
Qualifications:
  • M.S. with 4+ years or BS with 6+ years in Analytical Chemistry or related fields.
  • Experience in analytical method development and validation for biologic products.
  • Hands-on experience with LC-MS based biologics characterization.
  • Knowledge of FDA and ICH guidelines.
  • Ability to build strong collaborations within CMC functions.
  • Familiarity with lab automation, computer validation, and data governance.

The salary range for this position is: $133, $172. Gilead offers competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location.
