Richmond Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Supervisor II for our CREST Program .
The CReST Program Supervisor II will perform difficult professional and administrative work coordinating and supervising clinical and case management activities, supervising the work of staff within a program, ensuring the quality of program services, coordinating services with other divisions and community partners, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Work is performed under the general direction of the assigned manager. Supervision is exercised over subordinate personnel.Essential Functions
Supervises clinical and case management activities; ensures health, safety and welfare of clients; plans, organizes, directs and supervises assigned staff; supervises crisis interventions.
Sets program priorities; monitors and evaluates service delivery in accordance with established guidelines and principles; develops and enforces program policies and procedures.
Assists in the recruitment and selection of program personnel; assigns, directs, trains and inspects the work of staff; disciplines, coaches, counsels and evaluates staff performance; recommends suspensions and termination; develops staff schedules and approves leave.
Conducts meetings to discuss client/program/staff concerns or changes; consults with teams and committees in the planning and development of treatment and discharge plans; coordinates admissions and discharges of clients.
Monitors and audits clinical and medical records and practices for compliance with regulatory, reimbursement and agency standards; reviews documentation for accuracy.
Provides crisis intervention and prevention services to individuals and families; develops crisis response plans; provides consultation and education to staff and clients.
Conducts community outreach presentations to local community partners and other service providers.
Reviews, tracks and analyzes reports; prepares and submits reports.
Manages program budgets; reviews accuracy of program and contract billing; reviews service activity logs; submits payroll/timesheets to Finance.
Prepares and distributes correspondence to staff to improve communication and shares important announcements, deadlines, changes, etc.
Serves on a variety of committees as directed; attends and participates in a variety of meetings.
Attends professional conferences and trainings as required.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
Master's degree with coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field and considerable experience providing community-based mental health services including considerable supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifying staff will be eligible for a $4K sign-on bonus as defined by the terms and conditions of the approved sign-on bonus policy.
Professional Licensed as a LCSW, LPC, LCP, LMFT, and/or LSATP.
Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
