Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

We are currently seeking a Computer Analyst/Asset Management to support our Patuxent River, MD customer in PMA-281 (position location is Washington Planning Center (WPC), Washington D.C. Navy Yard). This position requires the person to be the Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) representative and provide support to the classified Media Center.

Duties:

The Point of Contact for all NMCI requests and issues:

  • Provide resolution by interacting with NMCI personnel on behalf of government employees when necessary.
    • Provide NMCI Tier 1 support to WPC users (government and contractor).
    • Coordinate new equipment and maintenance requests for printers, scanners, network drops, legacy computers, and conference room equipment through NMCI and the Base Telephone Office.
    • Track the logging of requests and the corrective and preventive maintenance performed on existing equipment and systems.
    • Request Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network NIPRNET and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) accounts for new users upon government approval.
    • Maintain an asset inventory of all NMCI equipment to include government and contractors.
    • Coordinate hardware refresh by reviewing inventory to determine what asset is at end of life.
    • Provide escort support to NMCI repair personnel.
    • Update and maintain the NMCI shared drive folder. The folder should include current asset inventory, trouble ticket status, and pertain documentation.

Provide Media Center support at the WPC for a TOP Secret/SCI media library of 20,000 items:

  • Process new classified media delivered to WPC.
    • Provide work disks for residents.
    • Maintain Media Center Inventories
    • Check in and out of classified media for residents.

Provide conference room support:

  • Include meeting set up/ operation of Video Teleconferencing (VTC), and Global Video Services (GVS) (unclassified and classified)
    • Provide Tier 1 support to users on how to setup GVS.

Common Workstations:

  • Provide Tier 1 support for the secure phone system and perform system security functions for three common SIPRNET workstations.
    • Weekly update workstations with the latest software updates and perform a seat health check.
    • Provide system configuration for the SIPRNET workstation crypto device process in accordance with all applicable instructions

WPC Phone management:

  • Unclassified Tier 1 support.
    • Call in Verizon phone outages.
    • Coordinate phone services.
    • SVOIP Tier 1 support
    • Order and oversee installation of service.
    • Coordinate future SVOIP service requirements.
    • Coordinate support during outages.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college

**Required Experience: **5 years in a Computer Analyst role with the US government or contractor

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, an active, DOD-sponsored, TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required.
