Sonographer Ultrasound Technologist - Maternal Fetal Medicine at The Perinatal Center in Richmond, VA

  • Utilize various ultrasound equipment to perform quality ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages
  • Specialize in obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound exams using established protocols
  • Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures and fetal monitoring tests
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
  • Maintain practice standards outlined by industry organizations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of examination results

Licensing/Certification:

  • Registered with relevant organizations (required)
  • Certified in specific areas (required)
  • Basic Life Support certification (required)

Education:

Graduate of accredited programs in Radiology Technology or Medical Sonography (required)

Work Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in specialized ultrasound procedures (required)

Training:

Experience with specific software preferred

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide age-appropriate care to patients
  • Familiarity with patient age groups and individual needs

Working Conditions:
