Advisor Services (AS) is the industry leader in providing custody, trading, technology, and practice management services to independent advisory firms. The AS service teams add value to advisory firms across the country by providing exceptional client service and support. This role is within the Enterprise Group (EG) Segment. Enterprise Group Advisors have regional or national presence, strong growth orientation, and complex business structure.

The Enterprise Operations Manager is a critical member of the Enterprise segment primarily focused on providing vital data and analytics to complex RIA firms. As an Enterprise Operations Manager, you will utilize resources and reporting to identify and present opportunities to increase technology adoption, lower NIGO rate, reduce status calls, and improve client satisfaction.

What you are good at

  • Identifying trends and seeking to educate clients on ways to increase operational efficiencies
  • Utilizing data and analytics to paint a picture and influence better outcomes for all stakeholders
  • Representing Schwab in presentations and daily interactions to employees of Enterprise home offices at all levels
  • Acting as a point of contact to our service and sales partners for complex data requests
  • Handling sophisticated or out-of-the box requests and owning them through completion
  • Generating ongoing custom reporting for Enterprise firms to ensure consistency with a goal of exceeding stated service levels
  • Collaborating with peers to expand platform capabilities that lead to better outcomes for clients and scalability for the business
  • Demonstrating a high degree of accuracy with expanded approval and restriction empowerment
  • Protecting client privacy while dealing with large-volume data projects
  • Maintaining a strong band of communication between internal business partners, operational partners and leadership
  • Demonstrating superior understanding of features and benefits of Schwab tools, products, and services in order to encourage adoption and provide scale to the segment
What you have
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 required. Series 9 and 10 licenses preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years Advisor Services experience required involving in depth knowledge of Advisor Services policies, data sources, processes, digital products, services, as well as demonstrated knowledge of the brokerage industry
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to research complex work, problem solve, interact with individuals at various levels, and think on your feet
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter and has a proven track record to deliver excellent client service and anticipate and resolve issues proactively
  • Willingness to pivot and constantly shift focus based on needs of the entire team and segment
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a large quantity of information at once, while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Superior communication, presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize business needs and manage time effectively
  • Advanced technical skills with team-orientation and serve as a resource for development of the team's effectiveness
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SalesForce
