Your role:
In this position, you will be responsible for promptly handling service calls, conducting maintenance tests, and analyzing existing BAS systems. You will provide guidance to service coordinators, technicians, and external providers on resolving issues. Additionally, you will interpret mechanical drawings, configure, calibrate, and test sensors and field devices. You will also load, test, and ensure communication among BAS controllers. Your tasks will include system check-out, commissioning, and documenting results, as well as assisting the lead technician during owner training. Building strong customer relationships is essential to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Building Automation Controls Systems, including familiarity with Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
- 1 year of experience with Building Automation Systems and Protocols, such as LON, BACnet, ModBus, and Metasys
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet networking and setting up IP addresses
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong computer skills
- Expertise in troubleshooting Building Automation Control systems
- Basic low-voltage electrical testing skills
- Authorization to work in the US
- Ability to travel extensively with a valid Driver's License
- Associate degree or 1-2 years of Vocational Technical Training
