We are looking for a highly efficient and detail-focused Collections Supervisor to lead our collections department. As a Collections Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing strategies and procedures to manage and recover outstanding debts efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a solid collections background, exceptional communication abilities, and the skills to guide a team towards achieving departmental objectives.



Responsibilities of Collections Supervisor

  • Develop and execute effective collections strategies to enhance debt recovery and uphold favorable customer relationships.
  • Supervise a team of collections agents by offering direction, support, and training whenever necessary.
  • Monitor and assess the collections team's performance, introducing enhancements to boost productivity and success rates.
  • Assess and manage delinquent accounts, deciding on suitable actions in line with company policies and legal standards.
  • Engage with customers regarding their overdue debts, negotiating payment arrangements, settlements, or other resolutions.
  • Maintain precise and current records of all collections activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal protocols.
  • Collaborate with various teams such as legal, finance, and customer service to address complex customer issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best collection practices, implementing new strategies and technologies for enhanced efficiency.
  • Produce regular reports on collections operations, offering insights and data analysis to senior management.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with debt settlement agencies, legal professionals, and other relevant service providers as required.
