Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week; Night shifts (7pm-7am); Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Location: UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks Hospital, Adult Behavioral Comprehensive Treatment Unit, Glendale Heights, IL

Your Role: Providing direct behavioral health patient care

Key Contributions:

  • Assisting patients with daily living activities
  • Providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions
  • Observing and documenting patient behavior and suggesting treatment plan adjustments
  • Establishing therapeutic relationships with patients

Skills and Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association obtained within 3 months of hire
  • Certification in Crisis Prevention from the Crisis Prevention Institute either upon hire or obtainable after hire

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

  • Nurse Aide credential from the Illinois Department of Public Health
