Scoreboard Operator

The New England Knockouts are looking for a Scoreboard Operator for the 2024 season. This candidate must be able to operate our brand-new scoreboard, as well as control the in-game pitch tracker. This job is considered part-time and will be paid on a per-game basis.

Who Are We:
The New England Knockouts are a professional baseball team in the MLB-partnered Frontier League. The Knockouts are the newest franchise of the Frontier League, officially being awarded membership in the fall of 2023. The Knockouts play at Campanelli Stadium, located in Brockton, Massachusetts. Fans and other members of the media can stay up to date with all Knockouts content through their social media channels @NEProBaseball.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the analog portion of our scoreboard. This includes displaying the at-bat counts, runs, and other statistical elements.
• Display pitch speeds for every pitch during the game.
• Work in-conjunction with the Knockouts analytics staff to acquire pitch velocities throughout the game.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Novice experience with Daktronics equipment preferred
• Energetic
• Must be able to attend most/all Knockouts all homes
