The Inpatient Therapist role involves providing direct patient care under the guidance of the Clinical Director.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide clinical social work and case management aligned with Walden's mission
  • Participate in assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
  • Deliver therapy to individuals, groups, and families
  • Handle crisis intervention and referrals
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with the treatment team
Qualifications:

Education:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in mental health
Licensure/Certification:
  • Preferred: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, or license-eligible
  • Required: CPR certification
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of psychiatric processes, therapeutic relationships, and crisis management
Required competencies:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with independent prioritization abilities
  • Effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
